Delving into a social aspect of academia central to global stability and unanimity, Soran University held a conference on religious coexistence at Dyana Church Hall.

The Law Faculty Dean Dr. Arafat Stuni, joint by the Church Reverend Yatron, began the conference by stating his appreciation to the many regional scholars that were in attendance, acknowledging this mutual respect and openness to and desire for interfaith dialogue.

We are proud to announce that Soran University’s Deputy Dean of Science, Dr. Hiwa Balisany, has co-authored and released a book in the field of computer science. Published in English and available on Amazon, the book was written in conjunction with Professors Waqar Ahmed and Peter Twig, and is entitled Human Gait Analysis Using Wearable Sensors.

On track within the framework of its developing strategic plans to expand the opportunities it affords its students and faculty, Soran University is pleased to announce that it has signed a memorandum of understanding with yet another distinguished European academic institution, The University of Huddersfield.
